Default One taillight not working

I am stumped! Took my 2017 stingray out for a ride the other night and was flagged down by multiple drivers that my left tail light is not working. After further investigation they were right and my left tail light does not work however brake light directional and reverse all work on that side. Hazards and running lights do not work on that side. I have taken the Light and plugged it into the other side and it works fine so I know the bulbs are fine. I took the right side and plugged it into the left side and nothing. Any ideas out there?

Well, you've ruled out the obvious and easy component. Now you have to decide whether to get out your multi-meter or take it in and let a tech diagnose it. if a quick check of exposed wiring, connections and the fuse box doesn't solve the problem, I would say it's time to take the car to a professional.

Might try to find the wiring diagram as some vehicles have a simple fuse for the right and left tail lights. Also might just be a loose in line connector. Some also will have a protection built into the body control module that will open the circuit to protect the module that a battery disconnect re-connect will fix .Keep us posted...

Hey man - check out post #20 on this thread: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...or-advice.html

I had a weird issue and my left tail light also stopped working. The other symptoms starting happening after some time and I found that it was a poor connection.

Good luck.

Does the low beam work when cold and then go out when it gets hot?

Hopefully you can track down the problem and fix it yourself, but if not, the dealer may be able to help.

Had the same thing happen. Turns out my aftermarket marker lights were the issue. Short in one would knock out one side. When it reset, id tap on the marker light and all would go out again. Put the oem back in and no issues.
