Quick question on splitter install

reading the install instructions from C7carbon, it mentions removing the side air dams to install the splitter, but no mention of reinstalling the dams. I haven’t noticed how other C7s are set up that have aftermarket splitters.
would the dams be reinstalled?

When I installed the poverty splitter on my car, I kept the right/left air dams on the car.

I did the same as Jack above - installed a poverty splitter but did not reinstall the side dam pieces. They would continually scrape going into and out of my driveway; plus apparently, their cooling and/or aerodynamic benefits aren't noticeable until 140 mph and above.
