If you are referring to the center screen that goes up and down, they are on National backorder and have been since October 2021. I just heard from GM that mine should be shipping to the dealer in the November timeframe.............

@Gatorboy165 , who was your GM contact for that item, and how did you reach them? I've been waiting almost two months for that item for our 2015.

Hi Catfish,

Per the local Chevy Dealer I go to, I called the number below and started a claim. I have the GMEPP and they replaced the HMI module which did not solve my issues (sceeen flickering and blackouts) as a first pass attempt in order avoid having to take apart the center console, etc to replace the infotainment screen assembly. This cost ~ $2000 and was fully covered by my GMEPP.

The part number that is on backorder is 84664816.

I've been getting weekly updates ever since I filed my claim with Chevy customer service.Chevrolet Customer Assistance

Phone Number:1-866-790-5600

Good Luck

@Gatorboy165 , thanks very much; I really appreciate your info! I'll see if GM can assist me.

CarMax's extended warranty is covering my repair (minus $300 deductible); I'm glad I'm not on the hook for the full amount.

Good luck with your repair. Hope somehow the parts availability situation improves and you can get the need parts soon.

Thanks. I spoke with Customer Assistance (very nice fellow) and he started a file for me on the issue. That may not resolve it any sooner than otherwise, but at least I know that it's being looked at.

My replacement screen finally came in. Been waiting since April. Just in time to put her war for the winter. It was 65 and sunny today... No more flicker or blackouts........

Great news! Good for you, and hopefully good for anyone else who's waiting for one (and that includes me!).

Side note on the repair - does your dash/console area that had to be removed to replace the screen look like it was put back together well?

I haven't gotten out my magnifying glass yet, but after a pretty thorough naked eye inspection, can't tell that the trim pieces that required removal were even touched. Most importantly, there are no, squeaks, ratttles, etc.....

The dealer I have been going to has a couple of well experienced Corvette Techs...... The car was dropped off at 9:00 AM and I got the call it was ready at 11:30.

So nice to have the screen working again!
