Just curious, who's in for corvette funfest next week even though it's just a one day event? I will be leaving early and make a few days of it. Just for a little pre fall get away.

Got some sort of a stomach bug last night. It's been a miserable day. The worst part is, I'm so weak, no way I can wake up at 2:30am and haul down to LS Fest. Lost my registration fees I paid of course, but the wife was at least able to get our hotel reservations canceled without fees. So bummed.
So I looked at Effingham this afternoon. We had a great time last year. But driving 9 hours each way for a 1 day show is a bit much my friend. I believe next year they go back to their regular show. We'll go next year if that's the case. Enjoy the show and say hi to your buddy with the beautiful C5s. His whole family were a wonderful bunch of people.

Where do I enter? All Corvettes and spectators will enter through Gate 2 at the drive-in movie theater sign.
How can my Corvette club park together? All clubs and anyone wanting to park together will have to arrive together at the same time to be able to park next to one another in the show field.
What do I do when I get there? Stop by the Check-In Station once you have parked and make sure to pick up your dash plaque to make your Corvette eligible for the Celebrity Choice Awards, your buyer’s card to get a 10% discount on eligible items, and your door prize tickets!
Will there be food? No party is complete without food! Numerous food trucks and vendors will be here to make sure you stay full and hydrated!

We used to drive through there every January on the way to Florida. Some times were better than others...
We did make it out of the lot and out of town on A/S tires. All the snow accumulated after we parked the previous night.
