The magnetic ride is in my opinion absolutely essential. This vette does not have this. Recommend P A S S

So essential that some have mag-ride and don't even know it and others here have thought they have mag-ride when they don't.
I don’t believe Mag ride is standard by model it’s an option by trim level.
That is correct for Stingrays. My wife had a 2019 1LT and I had a 2017 2LT - neither had the Mag Ride option.
I did not feel it necessary to have it; and it's just something else to eventually go wrong or need repair...........but like the A8 vs M7 debate, no particular opinion is absolutely correct as to what is right or wrong there. It's a matter of personal taste.

I have only driven Stingrays, but I believe that the "Magnetic Ride" system comes standard on the 'wide-body' Corvettes.............Grand Sport and Z06 models.
As for prices on C7 models, it is insane what has happened. Shortages and supply chain problems that halted production of C8 cars have made them rare - enabling dealers to add "ADM" charges up to fifty grand over MSRP. If someone's going to have to spend 120k or more to get a new C8 (and wait months to get it), that means that being able to acquire a gently-used C7 with low mileage for HALF that amount of cash becomes a rational idea.
My wife sold her 2019 1LT with 5,500 miles on it in October of 2021 - for almost five grand more than she paid for it brand new. The buyer bought it sight unseen (just photos from my cell phone) and sent a car carrier from out of state with a cashier's check to pick it up at our house. I sold my 2017 Stingray 2LT back in May - in FOUR HOURS. I got about 7 grand less than I paid for it brand new...........and I owned it 5 1/2 years and 17,000 miles. My main reason for selling was because I retired early and we were preparing for our move overseas. Two years ago, that would have almost been inconceivable, but the whole car market is totally distorted right now.
We live in Germany right now and vehicles cost even more here than they do in the USA. I have only seen two Corvettes since we moved here almost a month ago - one was a C6 and one was a C7. Both were driving slowly at the time, though. The passing lane of the Autobahn is, as expected, is dominated by Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes and the occasional Ferrari.
If someone is in the market for a C7, they will obviously pay more right now because of the distorted market. No doubt about that. If a potential buyer waits until things get back to a sense of equilibrium, they'll definitely pay less for the same car. However, waiting for that to happen will mean that you may stand less chance of getting the vehicle you want. Maybe when the C9 comes out in a few years, you'll be able to get your hands on a C8 for a lot less money than you'll pay for one now.
Caveat Emptor!!

I just bought a ‘19, 1LT, A8 w/21k miles in June for $51,900 from an Audi dealer in Florida. 1 owner trade in and the dealer put new OEM tires on it and a full tank of gas.😄 Looks like it’s never been sat in.
Been looking for over a year watching the prices go up. Couldn’t pass on the deal as next closest car with more miles was $6k higher.
Good luck and enjoy.
As the old saying goes, something is always worth whatever somebody will pay for it. 51k for a like-new 2019 doesn't sound bad at all - that's less than what they're fetching in many other places. If they gave you some new skins with it, then you probably did okay.
The crazy inflated prices on the C8 have certainly pushed up the value of good-quality C7s. We miss our Corvettes a little bit, but selling them before moving overseas was a good idea. I got what I thought was a fair price for mine and the dealer who bought it put it up for sale at five grand more. If they can get that much, then bully for them.
Just to give some perspective, I purchased my one owner (the dealer) 2019 Z51 3LT silver over adrenaline red back in 2020 with 500 miles on it for $59,995. This was during the height of the pandemic in May 2019. When I traded it for my Z06 almost exactly a year later in 2021, I received $6,000 more for it from another dealer. I'm glad I made the move(s) when I did. I would not want to be pricing out these cars right now. We are living in some very strange times where we are doing things that are out of character. Imagine what would happen if people stopped buying these cars. The prices would drop to move them.
Everett Chevy tends to be on the high side. That car new likely was sold originally for about $50k in 2019. Couldn’t hardly give away C7’s back then. But things being the way they are now….that price is probably in line with the market maybe just a bit high. I’ve had mag ride on both of the C7’s I’ve owned and really it has no value to me. The dual mode exhaust is not something you can add after the fact (at least not in pure OEM form where the car will control the valves automatically) so that’s a good thing to have. Some people care about the HUD and the heated seats…some don’t. Not a deal breaker for me. Depends on which things you care about.

Everything is relative and I'm sure you paid much more for the ZO6 than you would have normally.
