Check Battery Voltgage, Change Key Fob Battery if it has been in a while. You can also stick the key fob in the slot on the right side of the steering wheel before changing the battery.

Can you clarify what you mean by a new junction box? Sometimes the 350amp fuse is the culprit. Also a very common issue is not tightening down the connections. There are good DYIs on this.

I'll assume you got into the car with the key and pulling the door release cable.

OK, so apparently no voltage anywhere. So, what is common? Connection from battery to fuses on top of battery and negative battery cable to chassis ground. The 350 amp fuse on top of the battery feeds almost everything.

As noted above, verify that clamps on the battery posts are pushed down, level/ flat, and tight.

Make sure that all of the buss bars where the fuses connect on the positive terminal are making good contact with each other and tight.

Measure voltage between negative battery post and each side of each fuse on top of the positive battery terminal. Should all be close to battery post to battery post voltage you noted as 13.8 (strange, fully charged is around 12.8 volts.). If all OK, fuses and connections at the battery are good.

Next check voltage at the stud on the under hood fuse box - stud is under a cover between the fuse box and coolant reservoir. Measure from stud to any substantial metal part such as the alternator case. Should be same as at the 350 amp fuse.

Also measure voltage at rear fuse block under the carpet.

Now you will probably have an idea where the problem is located and can proceed with troubleshooting.

Is your security light flashing? Good power no start... maybe starter kill has been activated on the car alarm, the starter solenoid is bad. Also new battery yes, but where is the ground wire going when it leaves the battery? did it corroded and come disconnected from where it is grounded at, quick way to check this is to get a piece of 10ga wire wire or so and touch one part to the negative terminal and the other to a clean metal spot on the car and just see if u get a door open chime or mirror lights anything.

Great that you got the car up and running again. The C7 is very touchy when it comes to electrical connections.

Glad that is all it was. Funny how these connections or so figgity on the C7. Changed the battery in my X5 and the neg pulled off without a wrench. It showed no signs of elec issues.
