Hey, is this business legit? I'm thinking of ordering this part from them for my c7. But, want to make sure if they are a actual decent store and not shady scammers.

Painted top weighs 25lbs and the clear acrylic top weighs 22lbs. the fiberglass is 30 pounds or so.. I personally don't want top any heavier than it is. I would keep a close watch on eBay for an OEM, or find a Carbon fiber one online somewhere. I could not really find anything on Melrose.. just the usual "they are great" type reviews all positives like that always make me cringe a little. I would see if anyone has dealt with them or do more research on them.

Here's a known reputable business with new transparent top complete with latches and seals. Maybe they will price match.

I ordered the same item from them earlier this year. The top arrived quickly, packaged well. It was, in fact, a NEW OEM (GM) part. I had ZERO complaints about the transaction and remain happy with the top.

If you go to Melrose site and click on roof panels / C7 there are 2 choices - one says NEW and the other says REFURB - both for the same price.
Guess I only saw refurb the first time I looked.
Does not make sense...

The former sells for $1899 all the time. The latter retails for $2199, but happens to be "on sale" for $1899. Makes perfect sense to me.
