Default front window gap

Wondering if anyone else has a very small gap where the drivers front window meets the rubber strip or if anyone has pic of this area with the window down or door open to see what's off for my car.
FWIW, I have a 2017 C7Z

No rain or anything comes in the gap, but I do get some wind noise, and I'm just trying to figure out if something is misfit, or how to best fix this.

Can you provide a better picture? Maybe a close up?

Maybe try re-indexing the window?

I'll get a better pic after work tomorrow, and to the next poster, yes, I've reindexed. It's tight everywhere else.

Do the dollar bill test. Standing outside lay a bill at that spot against the seal so it will be 1/2 inside and 1/2 outside and close the door. Pull on the bill from outside. You want to feel a slight drag. You can use any paper but bills are pretty strong so easier to check multiple spots w/o needing a new piece of paper.

You might also try spraying some Silicon Spray on a thin rag or Q-tip, and lube the inside of the window channel, just in case something is sticking.

Since, I have a convertible, I refresh the surface of the weatherstripping every six months. Just a thought.

What do you use for the refresh of these surfaces? I also own a convertible. It's my first foray, so I am making notes of maintenance items like this.

Nextzett makes a rubber conditioner/UV protectant named Gummi Pflege Stift. Made in Germany. It works really well with a built-in applicator and leaves the rubber feeling silky smooth.

Trim shop said to use baby oil on rubber.

Thanks for the info. Hmm, is that mineral oil based? I would imagine the baby smell from the product isn't needed.

Convert side windows do drop down and back up fully just a bit as part of a full top down/ top up cycle. Window may not have returned to the full up position last time you dropped the top. It happens. Might want to recheck that by running a complete top down/ top up cycle.

Here's a close up. In looking it appears my window striping may end a little soon. Is this correct? The gap is pretty visible.
I've indexed the windows and ran the top up and down a few times. It's been there the whole time I've had the car.

Here are two close-ups of the same area on my 2017. It looks to me as if your weatherstripping has been damaged.
