My understanding is that it's got to be Dexos2 and ESP for the emissions system, and 0W40, of course. The stuff from AZ was the correct oil and you can't beat the price! I think the "European Car" mention on the box and bottle are just noting that this oil "meets or exceeds" European Car oil standards. The Mobil 1 oil meets multiple standards: we just need to be sure that ours are included in the list of standards that it meets. Thanks for your reply.

Noted: yes, it's not a "rebate", it's the "Available Deals" button to the right of the screen. It's kind of small, not hidden, but not prominent.

And a 5w-40 Dexos 2/R oil is acceptable, depending on your climate. The 5w/0w difference is negligible above freezing temperatures.

This is what you're looking for: the orange tag below the price "See Available Deals"
Which then opens this slider which shows the deals. You have to buy both deals to get 10 quarts (and two oil filters). If you average the filters at about $7.50 each, the oil comes out to about $6.50/qt for Dexos2, ESP 0W40 oil for our Corvettes. That seems like a pretty good deal to me.

I'm in Phoenix and just bought this deal. This is extremely cheap at $6.26/quart!
Subtotal: $134.88
Shipping: FREE
Savings: $56.90
Total after tax: $82.34
I got the STP filter deal since specs that I've found online and videos show no difference between it and the M1 filter in my opinion. You need to double your order but you don't need to buy two different deals unless you want to. When I was in the Cart, I simply added more quarts until it reached 10 and added a filter so it said 2. This doubled the order and price. I now have an extra filter, but oh well. I'll use it I'm sure.
I also care about technical info (I'm an engineer) and at first I was questioning it saying "European car formula" on the oil, but after further searching I'm totally comfortable buying this oil. Thanks for the heads-up on this deal!

For what it's worth:
Oskee 4/28/22: I just went thru the same dilemma so I called Mobil and talked to a gentleman named Tony. He stated that all of their Mobil oil is compatible but you get a greater benefit if its basically the same viscosity. I asked him about the Mobil1 ESPx3 0w-40 European Formula vs the ESP 0w-40 and he stated that they are both GM 2dexos approved and are ESP formula oil and are compatible . They do recommend Mobil 1 ESP 0w-40 for my 2019 C7 ZR1 but if unavailable ESPx3 European Formula 0w-40 can be used either as a complete oil change or topping off !

Thanks for the tip - just purchased the deal, as 1 member pointed out - you can just bump up the qty's to 10 qts and 2 of the filters, and shop rags and get the same price.

The last two online orders I placed for 6 quart cartons, came as ESP in the first order and Supercar in the second one.
Same bottle, same oil, but different labels, and black vs grey caps. Neither one mention European formula.
