There may be a better thread for this type of message but I just wanted to share a "good deal" I found when searching for the best price for the normally $16.50/quart recommended oil for the C7 Corvette.

On the Autozone.com site, if you search for the Mobil 1 0w40 oil, and find the ESP, Dexos 2 oil, you'll see on the right side some "Deals" that they are offering. You can get 5 quarts and a Mobil 1 filter at a very nice price. I did this twice to get to the 10 quarts that I needed and this was the final price with free shipping to my doorstep:

• Subtotal$140.88
• ShippingFREE
• Total Savings- $59.90
• Tax $5.06
• Grand total$86.04

That's for 10 quarts of Mobil 1 ESP 0w40 Dexos2 oil and two oil filters. This "sale" only goes for another couple of weeks (Feb 6, 2023).

I should note to make the 10 quarts, you have to choose one STP filter deal and one Mobil 1 filter deal. If the site doesn't add 5 more quarts when you choose the second deal, just add 5 more quarts (as long as you chose both deals it will allow you to get 10 quarts at the good price).

I also found that Wally World sells the Mobil 1 Supercar (Dexos) 0w40 oil for about $10/quart.

It doesn't mean it is only for European cars. Many Euro vehicles (VW, Audi, MB, BMW, Porsche) recommend 0W-40 oil, and as far as I know nobody else does. I doubt anyone can prove 0W-40 is bad for this engine. I was planning on switching to it next spring.

As long as it says Dexos 2, it's the right oil. (Or Dexos R now I guess)

I had a bad experience ordering the Super Oil from AutoZone last year. They shipped me the European Car stuff, not the Dexos-2 stuff. No stores in my area carry the Super Car stuff. I'll wait for the next Mobil-1 rebate and try again...

Per Mobile One representative at the Corvette Corral The 0W 40 ESP and renamed to Super Car 0W 40 are the same oil and is not the European 0W 40. It has been the factory fill for several years and GM approved for 2014 C7 and newer.

Under the price there's a link that says, "Rebate Available" and then under that, "See Available Deals"... click "See Available Deals." It expands from the right of the page so a URL wouldn't really help you...
