First post here, great forum. I have spent quite a bit of time searching this forum for the same problem I have. The problem just started this weekend. The Info screen intensity goes from bright to what looks like night mode, basically causing a flashing effect. Very annoying. All functions work, it's just the flashing is the problem. At night I turn the screen off. Any ideas as to what the fix might be other than replacement which is a no.
Cleaned it, no change. I just got back from a test run. Stopped flashing for about half a mile, then started up again. Went down some bumpy roads thinking something is loose but, no change.

You don't say what year your car is, but early C7s did have some issues with the infotainment screen going bonkers. I know I had the issue on mine and it required the replacement of the screen.
It's a 2015.
Thanks all. Guess it's the screen. Not going to fix it since everything works. I'll use WAZE or Google Maps for nav. They are up to date anyhow.

Can I suggest that even though you have a 'work-around' with WAZE and Google Maps that you bite the bullet and pay for the screen replacement (if in fact that's what it needs).
It took my dealer over 5 months to get a new screen for our 2015. There will be a point sometime in the future (don't know when!) that new screens will not be available, period. And if at that time is when you go to sell the car with an inop and unavailable screen, no buyer will pay you anywhere what you should get.
