Lighter Socket

I bought the official Corvette C7/C8 battery tender (Made in China FFS) but keep getting a blinking red light. I reset it like 5 times. Is there a setting I need to use to activate the cigarette lighter? It always resets to the lowest charge level. Do I need a new battery?

The socket by the Shifter is not active when the engine is off. The one in the trunk is.

What the others have said - plug the tender into the socket located on the passenger side in the trunk area.

Mind would loose a good connection, just from vibrations in the area in the garage.
I had to bend the prongs on the end of the male connector that plug into the trunk socket.

Not sure if yours has it, but in some cigarette lighter adapters there is a fuse inside them. If so, unscrew the tip of it and have a look just to be sure it's good.
