Smooth fuel rail/inner fender covers
I like the looks of the smoothed fuel rail and inner fender covers. I do not see these being sold other than custom painted. Are vendors spraying these with a high build primer, sanding them?
Any input appreciated.

Good question. I bought my covers from a forum vendor and however they got them so smooth, they turned out great. I too have not seen them sold without some kind of custom painting, even if it is just the lettering on the covers.

My C6 I bought the FRC from a vendor already done. On my C5 I took then to a friend that does Corvette work and he bead blasted them smooth then painted them and clear coated. I have heard of people using filler primer and sanding them smooth, but I am sure that is a lot of work with the raise letters.

This is what I was figuring I'd have to do. I don't mind doing it, but if I could buy ones already smoothed it would save some work.
