Hi Guys,

I am having a problem to find a replacement infotainment display…now I came across this one from AliExpress and I would like to know if someone have any experience with those.

Interested in what feedback you get on this product. I understand the OEM unit is hard to come by.

If they can't even get the model years right, what makes you think this has any chance of being trouble free?
have you tried this one?

Default Good luck...

Good luck getting this part.
The one or two places/dealerships/resellers that showed it as "available" or "in stock" really didn't have it and said they were not sure if and when they could get it - no ETA (So they basically lie or never update their website). It is also because the early model year C7 infotainment screens are not the same as the later years and sometimes they confuse them.
A local dealership said they might be able to get one - charged me $815 in advance. Which luckily I was able to cancel the next day without any cancellation fee. I cancelled it because my son recommended SPECMO. They do a lot of electronic equipment repairs and refurbishments. Specmo.com 800-545-7910 They will tell you right up front that they don't have it but will eventually get it. AND the price is lowest I've seen. Price $474.12 + shipping $17.00 = $482.12
I ordered it thru them March 28 - no upfront charge. I called them last week to find out when they might have it, they they estimated the part will probably be shipped in early May. Not a fan of waiting this long, but I have no other choice. I made the mistake of trusting outfits that told me they had the part, they needed the old one so I took apart my dash thinking I would have the new part and do the swap the same day....DON"T DO THAT! You can't drive without it. 😖 So my C7 sits in the garage...waiting....
SPECMO doesn't need you to return the old part or a "core return".
My son has used them and found them to be reputable and reliable.
So, that's my advice and recommendation. I'll update this posting when I get the part....
Again, good luck.

This place also supplies (when they're available) and repairs the infotainment units - https://www.modelelectronics.com/.

It's where Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Richmond got the new one for my car.
