I bought a used 2015 ZO6 3LZ. 10606 miles. The drivers seat bolsters closest to the door are worn. I don’t like it. I have ordered replacement covers for the seat that match interior. Has anyone replaced their seat covers. I’m looking for any helpful hints or anything to look out for. Thx
Search for C7 Competition Seat install on this forum and on Youtube. It is actually quite easy to swap out the seat covers. Basically disconnect the battery, unbolt/remove the seats and pull out the seat cover edges from the plastic C-channel wedge on the seatback shell.
Here you go. Many of us have converted to comp seats over the years. This will give you step by step instructions on how to take off your skin and replace it. Unless you go all out and move to converting to comp seats…. Lol
I finished putting on the replacement seat covers. It didn’t go too bad and I’m happy with the results. That center piece under the head rest was difficult for me to get back in and as perfect as I would have liked and a wrinkle in the rt side seat bolster. I’m glad I didn’t need to replace on the passenger side!

yup it can certainly be challenging getting all thise clasps in at one. Good job
I have an Auto Upholstery guy in town that learned the trade and took over the business from his Dad. He replaced the bolster and used a much thicker grade of leather that matched the color of the seat.
I put Wet Okole seat covers on one of my other cars, and it's a breeze. Before you start, disconnect the battery under a safe position concerning airbags. Gently take out any plastic panels, or clips with a trim tool. I also sprayed a very thin layer of fabric adhesive on the perimeter of the foam padding to help hold everything in place while fitting upstair Okole covers. Neoprene is durable and this will go on real nice in your Jeep once you have it all put together. It takes a little patience to ensure that it fits just right.
I've had all my interior work done over the years by a single upholster with outstanding results. I'd talk with car clubs in your area and try to find someone trustworthy and turn it over to him or her. My nickel's worth...

If you have replacement covers for your 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 the job is very doable but takes patience. Disconnect the battery first because of the seat airbags. Pay close attention to how the original cover is attached underneath and use proper hog ring pliers to make it easier. Check the bolster foam while you are in there since worn foam can affect how the new cover fits. Take your time stretching the cover so it sits smooth without wrinkles.
