The GM manual recommends a light wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth. The leather on the Corvettes is a sealed/coated product where no product is going to penetrate the sealant coat. I do use 303 Aerospace protectant for surface protection since it cuts down on UV damage. Thats the only product I use on the interior surfaces. YMMV...

My go to is Angelwax Heaven For Leather and some quality Boars hair brushes to gently clean any dirt. Then wipe with a microfiber towel . As stated above not much will ever penetrate the coating. I usually just use a dampened microfiber towel with water and wipe it down in between any big cleans. For Alacantara and Suede, the best is Sonax Leather Cleaner..

I also will recommend checking out our Car Care Section https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...discussion-10/

My normal 'go-to' has been Griot's Garage 3-in-1 Leather Conditioner. Smells great, too...like leather! If I'm low or out, I always have a bottle of Lexol on the shelf.

A damp cloth with perhaps a little very mild soap will get the seats clean.

Unfortunately, the change in company ownership brought with it continuous tinkering with the product line. In most cases, this means "fixing" what isn't broken.

I know that GM claims that that the leather/vinyl that they use is coated and that using leather conditioner has no benefit. However I used Zaino Leather in a Bottle for 20 years on the seats of my C5 before I sold it and they looked brand new without a wear mark or wrinkle. So far on my C7 that I purchased a year ago I have only used a damp microfiber cloth but am considering going back to the Zaino leather conditioner.

Damp cloth. Anything else is a placebo at best and dust attracting at worst. Or an expensive air freshener.

All C7 leather is top coated so no need to condition the leather. I simply use a damp microfiber every month or so to wipe down the leather. If it gets a bit of sheen to it or is visibly dirty I use Adams Leather Cleaner and a bristled brush.

I'll continue to use Zaino. Used it on past cars. But won't be too often.

For what it is worth, GM recommends using their AC DELCO products that are supposedly formulated for the coated leather.
I use the AC DELCO 88861401 cleaner and 88861402 conditioner on my 2019 and it works as good as anything I have tried and leaves no residue.

I've used Mother's products with no issues.
Also as mentioned, Adams is great!

Damp cloth. My leather looks near perfect after 7 years. If I wanted a nice smell Id get an air freshener.

I have been using a product called The Tannery for decades now. ACE carries it and so does Amazon.

I have used Adam's Leather Cleaner and Leather Conditioner on my last 3 Corvettes. I tend to be a bit OCD, so I regularly wipe down my interior with the cleaner, and about every other "treatment' I use a light amount of the conditioner. It just makes the seats feel better (I know...weird!), and the smell is incredible!!

I always am looking for something better guys and I have never found anything better then Adams . I know there all good, but Adams leaves the slick feel on paint, Easy on easy off and same for interior . Adams is my pick but that's just me I know there are many top quality products out there
