Had the brakes worn message pop up a little while ago. Dealer tech was lazy and just wanted to replace every sensor AND the ebcm for commission (car isn't under warranty anymore). Ik how to test the sensors themselves. But is there any way to test the harness portion? I'm assuming these do in fact connect to the ebcm, but does anyone know as to what pins I need to check?
Why are you worried about the harness? Just check each sensor and replace or jumper out the failed one.
Cause it could be the wiring on the harness rather than the sensor itself. Or could even be the ebcm needs reprogrammed via the tsb that was released a while back. I'd rather have thr knowledge now, rather than have to yank everything apart a 2nd time.

Take a deep breath. Remove each wheel. Check each sensor. It's not the harness or the EBCM.
Ooor someone could just answer the question i asked
Here is the schematic for the pad wear sensors used with the J57 brakes.
To check the continuity of the harness through the car you could remove the connector from the EBCM and use a DVM in set in continuity mode or ohms mode to check continuity or measure the resistance from EBCM connector pin 9 through EBCM connector pin 23.
Here is the EBCM connector pin out:
If you get continuity between those two points it is highly likely the issue is the connection at the EBCM or the EBCM. The most likely failure is at one of the two pin connectors where the sensors are connected to the serial circuit at each wheel. or with a worn sensor due to the sensor not being mounted properly on the brake pad. Any open circuit will cause the brake wear warning. You find the two pin connectors at each wheel by putting your hand on the sensor harness where it leaves the caliper and tracing it back to the cradle.
