If its not raining the top is down. Plenty of heating and cooling amenities to keep me feeling good/

my top is up until outside temp is 65, because i do not drive in a jacket.
I have run across the desert many times at 110 with the top down.
Use the Seat Cool Feature all the time.

true story:
was going to a Corvette Meet. Temps were 60 degrees and foggy when i left the house. When i arrived at the Meet, two guys walked over to where i had parked. Once they got closer, a friend of mine said "oh, its you! I have never seen your car with the top up. I did not know it was Blue"

sun had come out on my way to the Meet, top was down for the rest of the day.

I am a DieHard Roadster Fan. My Rule-of-Thumb is: if it is 45 F and above and 95 or below, the top will be down. Heater, jacket, and hat will be on at the low end and A/C and hat will be on the high end.

I was going to a Judging Meet in Newport Beach from Ventura in my C4 Roadster. It was 69 in Ventura and 69F in Newport. No problem!

When, the Meet was over, 74 in Newport and 74 in Ventura. I was looking for a beautiful drive home!

I forgot to check the temperature in LA. It was a 106F at Pierce College in stop-n-go traffic! Anywhere, in LA I am not familiar with, I do not get off and stop. It was not fun.
shoulda dropped down to PCH in Santa Monica rather than taking the 101. A much better drive all the way around...but I digress.

I rarely take the removable roof panel off - only for short trips. I've had my fun with convertibles. I don't appreciate the direct sunlight as much as I used to.

I'm from Louisiana, and have had similar temps at midnight. I absolutely hated those temps! Power to you sir!

Sun shining on you definitely will heat your skin up. If you don't like that, why get a convertible? My temp is set to 72 but even then, the sun makes it seem hot. I don't enjoy any temp over 70 in fact, I prefer mid 60s but the wife wants about 70 plus so there it is.

IMO Because you want one, and you don't have to drive in extreme temps with the top down to enjoy it...

I'm in Tucson and I have settled on top down between 68° and 101°. If I'm doing highway speeds, top goes up at 76°.
