If it's sunny and over 80 degrees out, my top will be up! I love the convertible, but detest being hot when out for a drive! I'm curious, what's your top up (or top on) temps?

Yep, that sounds about right; sometimes we might go up to around 85 degrees if we're moving along at a good speed.
In SoCal the weather can change drastically in a few miles and that is why I enjoy the power top.
I am a DieHard Roadster Fan. My Rule-of-Thumb is: if it is 45 F and above and 95 or below, the top will be down. Heater, jacket, and hat will be on at the low end and A/C and hat will be on the high end.
I was going to a Judging Meet in Newport Beach from Ventura in my C4 Roadster. It was 69 in Ventura and 69F in Newport. No problem!
When, the Meet was over, 74 in Newport and 74 in Ventura. I was looking for a beautiful drive home!
I forgot to check the temperature in LA. It was a 106F at Pierce College in stop-n-go traffic! Anywhere, in LA I am not familiar with, I do not get off and stop. It was not fun.
I'm in northern VA and the weather on the opposite side of America swings widely too. In cooler weather, I will drop it similarly. I keep a jacket in the trunk for that reason. Our hot is really hot though, with hot breezes, LOL.
I prefer 80° or below for top down driving but that really depends on if the sun's beating down on me. I once tried cruising an interstate top down when it was around 50°, that lasted about five miles even with a jacket on.
Being close to the coast does help.If wind is going off the water. The cool type seats and AC Blasting in your face helps near 90 if moving.
I treat heat like rain.Just park it.No need to drive top up unless emergency rain falls or a traffic jam sitting and.....
A little nostalgia: I remember two episodes of "Route 66" one was when Todd & Buz drove to a ski resort, snow on the ground, & top down! The other was about the only time I saw the top up, it was pouring rain at the time.
about right for me, I abhor hot weather (luckily here is Western WA it was a decent summer and am psyched for fall) but will put the top down down to the 40's.......
My top up temperature range is below 70 and above 90 degrees. We hardly ever go below 70, so that is not an issue. Most days tend to be lower than 90, so that too is not an issue. It more depends on how far I am going and if I need to put the top up before I return home. Short trips tend to be top up. Verts in South Florida are a special case.
