2015 transmission sometimes does not want to engage when cold; same 2015 transmission sometimes engages as if the engine revs were up when put in gear (very hard engagement). I guess it depends upon mood transmission is in when it wakes up. Torque converter replaced twice, transmission replaced once. If I drive it quite often, problem is lessened, but not eliminated. If I don't drive it for several days, either problem will occur.
I haven't had this issue on my 2015 but I notice when I start my car the RPMs are at 800 for a minute. I wait until it settles before I put it in gear. Have you had the triple flush with new fluid?
Valvebody leak down issue or have dealer perform the garage relearn procedure , this issue is well known and like states above there are a few TSB's issued ( TSB does not = Warranty)
FYI, the triple flush is a TSB intended to remedy the shudder issue. There’s a different TSB for the “Harsh or Delayed Engagement from Park” problem. Sadly, this fix is way more costly than the triple flush.

Unless he gets lucky and the Garage Relearn Procedure cures the harsh engagement . I always recommend doing this procedure first before resorting to replacing the valvebody

A “Reset Adaptives” and “Relearn” has been my temporary fix for years now. I’m at the point where IF mine was a leak-down problem, why would it take MONTHS for the symptoms to return?
We could all speculate ‘til the cows come home. Maybe the firmware in the TCM is loosing its mind. I suppose one way to find out is to replace the TCM and reprogram it. Certainly less expensive than having the maintenance outlined in the TSB performed.

Thanks for the advice. I will discuss this with the dealer tomorrow who has had my car since Saturday
