Hair dryer or a careful use of a heat gun. I would suggest removing them and work on them off the car. They are not that hard to remove.
You also want to make sure that's a tape overlay because you can buy these items in smoke lenses as well.
Hair-dryer... not a heat-gun unless you are experienced with the latter. I've seen too many screw-up with them. Take your time and after remova; use GOO-GONE or similar to clean-up the adhesive-like residue, if there is any. Be patient. All the best.
Nice timing on post.. I'm probably getting ready to sell my car and would remove my high dollar side markers and re-install the factory ones. Mine have the gray cover. I was unaware that you could remove the tint.
Thanks for responses.... its definitely tape. I can lift a corner to peel it off. Seems like it is pretty aggressive tape though. Not really a big deal. I will give it a try... if its too difficult I will just leave it.
