Default bcm replacement

is diagnosing and replacing the bcm a very big job at dealership on c7?

I had mine done this summer. Car was stuck in park. Got it out of park and to the dealer. BCM had to be replaced as nothing coming out of pin:#2. Got a new BCM and they programmed it. Took longer to find the BCM as it is on backorder. Took a day to program and install.

Located on passenger side footwell if I remember correctly.

Not a big deal unless there is a parts backorder as mentioned. Good luck - hope the BCM is readily available and you can get your car back on the road soon.

the problem with my car was the driver door would not open. after all the troubeling shooting it turned out to be the bcm.
now waiting for warrinty to approve so work can begin, so it will be a few days before car is back on the road
