Got new rims and tires, Skinnys up front. Was going to use for the drag strip only, but after driving around today they ride just fine. Probably going to sell the other setup. Old setup New setup, which one do you prefer?
I never really took the corners too hard. So for me it's the same. When I leave my shop the entrance to i10 is one of those that takes you in a complete circle. I went the same speed as I normally do.
Front rim is 18x5 and the tire is mt sr radial 26.0x6
Rear rim is 18x10 and the tire mt ss drag radial 305x40-18. Offset are narrow body. The rear tires are 28 inches tall. I lowered the car down to get rid of the gap but will have to raise it back up a little as the scrub on hard bumps. The 305x35 would fit without rubbing but I want the sidewall for drag racing.
