Flat bottom steering wheel question.

Was the flat bottom steering wheel ever an option?
My '19 Stingray LT1 came with one while it seems that earlier years are round.

All 2015’s came with the round steering wheel. I have that year’s brochure book. 2016 was indeed the first year with the flat bottom version.

The ‘14 Stingrays all had round steering wheels and I think they switched to flat bottom steering wheels for all models when the Z06 came out in 2015. Or maybe it was 2016.

Stevettec7 made me think, so I looked in my 2015 sales brochure and in the Z06 section, it shows a flat-bottom wheel. Non-Z06s had round wheels.

2016 switched to flat for all.

this got me to thinking and I went to autotrader and did a search for 2015 Z06's and all the 2015 Z06's listed there that I looked at have flat bottomed steering wheels. didn't know that.

Do the flat bottom ones have the center stripe at the top from the factory? Mine doesn't have one.

Doesn't come with the top/center stripe. That's something owners have added. Although some aftermarket companies will put them on as on option. Mine is just a vinyl tape. Has held up for years.
