I have a 2019 GS that does NOT have the shudder.....yet! My powertrain warranty is up at the end of the month. Should I get the transmission flush done any way as a preventative measure. FYI, it shifts smooth without any indication of a shudder. It only has 20k on the odometer.
If your GS was built prior to February 1st of 2019. Go to the dealer and tell them you feel the shudder and reference TSB 18-NA-355. Your word is enough. No diagnosis beyond that is necessary.

My 2016 had no shutter, but, I had the Triple Tranny Flush done before the Power Train Warranty expired.

The build date of the car is probably NOT the same as the build date on the tranny. There's a sticker on the transmission that shows that date, unfortunately I don't have a lift to check it. I'm going to go ahead and schedule an appt. to get the flush done this week.
Make sure that it is their Corvette certified tech that is doing it and that he knows you are watching. It should take 2.6 hours plus the 24 quarts of fluid. Unless you know him personally, I really don't feel good about handing you the keys and call me when you are done. Did you investigate them and make sure they have the machines and expertise before booking the appointment or will they just drop the pan, change the filter and hope for the best?

I had a long talk with the service manager about everything you mentioned. He was very upfront about everything, plus I've used their service dept. for my other C7's. The only problem I ran into early last year was getting an oil change on my 2015 Z51. The guy was new and had never done one with a dry sump. So, after they cleaned up the mess he made, over filling, I got a card from the service manager giving me a free oil change next time I come in.

I just bought a 2017 Stingray A8 with 7900 miles. Before I bought it I spent a fair amount of time trying to scare myself out of it here...LOL. But, the desire persisted and I found one in pretty much new condition.
I have the TSB on the transmission shudder/fix, but read somewhere that a simple drain and fill with the newer recommended fluid had become the solution, and that the triple flush was not really necessary.
My car drives fine with no shudder, and I bought a range device to keep it in V8 mode.
Anybody else know if the simple drain and fill is now the recommended prophylactic, or if the triple flush still recommended?
Thanks, Joe
