Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, full duplex. Genuine DSP with a multiband EQ. This is still very preliminary, so further testing is required, but testing has been done on 3 cars, to date and will begin testing on my end. I will have more info in about 2wks approximately, and the first information on this to hit the internet, will be via my youtube channel. I am working on pricing, and a group buy on here, would instill some confidence. I think we can get the pricing down as a forum special, but I only want to do that, once I've had extensive time with it, etc.
My question wasn't intended to start a **** storm. Without going into my understanding of quality of small batch Chinese manufacturing I am just trying to find out if I can reverse the install and get it back to stock should the need arise using my original parts.
For the record I have seen many brand name aftermarket HU's die an early death and if they are outside of warranty you are SOL. Companies go under, parts go obsolete. I promise I wasn't trying to knock your work or your company. I know nothing about either. I salute your efforts to try to bring something to market. I know it's not easy and to be honest I have to believe Corvette customers are probably some of the most picky out there (though stuff I read on the Lexus forums could be worse). You are taking on quite a task for what is probably not that much profit at the end of the day and wish you much success.
I mean, this is going to be the case for any aftermarket product you buy though. Morimoto headlights to carbon pieces, to wheels, etc. I 100% agree with you on the customer profile and I've EXTREMELY aware and communicate this repeatedly to my partners, on the electronics side. Corvette enthusiasts can not only be fantastic, but also your worst nightmare. It's a tricky place to be in.

I forgot to add to my post that I look forward to details around the install and reversal if necessary.
100% interested. I hate the factory screen and the novelty of the retracting screen quickly has worn out since many of us don’t use it for fear of it failing. Can’t wait to get my hands on this.
My only concern is how much of a hassle to install (sorry if this was addressed somewhere above).

Its not very difficult and fully reversible, as my video will outline. Once I gather some details and work through a few things, I will have more specific information. This has the potential to reshape things for C7. We do have carbon and non-carbon with a clear pricing variation between the two.
It looks like my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek screen, Almost a copy, I really like what you have, but the cost and install/reverse install when selling the car is too much for me. 65YO semi retired.
Yes, the C7 drop screen is a novelty and storage for little stuff. It breaks and cost a ton to replace. OE parts.
The large screen is part of the future, it will replace almost every component and connect with outside services. Drive by itself is the future
Looks sort of tesla-ish. I'm not a big fan of large touch screens. There's too much going on and becoming distracted is quite easy if you're not careful. I prefer ***** or push buttons in a known location that doesn't change. But then again I'm a retired old fart. Plus I like my James bonds not so secret stash spot lol.
But I also love your passion for bring change to the automotive community. I'm sure you will sell a ton of these.
Well I like the idea it does everything the stock unit does and then some, great. If it has ongoing updates and support, great. If it has a decent warranty, great. I like the idea looks great price seems fair for small batch and you get the whole trim piece. Would I buy this if my OEM screen still worked? no. Would I replace it with this? yes absolutely, it may cost more then stock but it is slick as ****.
I have spent my life doing industrial level Human Machine Interface and PLC programing. This screen and product really touches all of my must have boxes for our C7. Our screen is glitching right now. We don't use the compartment for fear of losing the screen. We would like to add wireless apple carplay, a front camera and the PDR function to our 2014. Where / when can we get on the pre-buy?
I frickin' like it. I owned a Tesla, and my Ford truck has a big-*** screen on it too. I would definitely install this. One question tho, your prototypes look like they're using the carbon dash. Are you also making them without the carbon?

What is the purpose of always posting the pictures with the e-mail embedded. It throws it off.
Unfortunately he was forced to watermark all of his photos kinda harshly because the amount of people that have stolen his pictures and represented them as their own work so they can scam people, or benefit from his R&D which is significant.
