Door Speaker Issue
I have this weird issue where the smaller speaker in the drivers door doesn't work UNLESS I put pressure on the speaker grille, then it intermittently puts out sound. To me it seems like maybe a bad contact on the speaker or connector. Anyone ever had a similar issue. I am just trying to plan for fixing it. See the video below

First thought = connector loose
Not difficult to remove the panel and check connections and I'd def suggest that before ordering replacements. If you end up needing a replacement I might have an extra I can send you. Shoot me a DM if you end up finding out it's the speaker and not just a loose connection.

My suggestion is to replace the speaker(s) with equivalent aftermarket speakers. Replace by the pair. The Bose system in the Corvette is barely adequate. I will be retiring soon and I plan on replacing all of the speakers in my 2014 Z51 vert.
There are plenty of articles on this site on what to buy and how to do it. Most of the speaker replacements look fairly easy to do.

Focal makes amazing replacement speakers for entire Bose System! the Bose sound was decent. If u want to PM me I can share my build on my c7 GS with Focal components and the JL Audio Stealth Box!!!! I love music almost more than I love the grrrr of the engine!! my custom build was about 8k including components, labor and sound deadening. god bless and good luck!
