Two mats
Hi
Today while going through my C7 l found two 1 inch thick mats behind each seat.
They measured 15 inches X 17 inches. They were made from the same material
from the second layer of Mat .
there are 3 layers of mats.
The first layer was the orig stock mat
the second layer was made of the same spongey material as the two mats behind the seats.
The third mat had the large Stingray emblem all custom fit.
any idea !

Somebody stuffed it in there for sound deadening. Most of the noise you hear is from the rear tires so many people put stuff there. When I first got mine, I put some dampener in there from Second Skin Audio. Helped a little I suppose.

Never thought about that, the sound probably drove the previous owner crazy, Yes and he also has the npp exhaust with
the Magnetic option plus other options.
