Default Splitter replacement and hardware

I had to replace my splitter after a little accident at the track. I was able to keep all the bolts from the old splitter, but not the plastic plugs, and I don't think the bolts alone are sufficient to keep the new splitter attached. Does anybody know where I can get the plastic plugs, or something similar? Or is there a workaround for the non-threaded holes on the bumper? Thanks!

No, screws alone are not sufficient, especially for track duty. The plastic plugs you speak of are not oem. Oem uses aluminum rivets you have to drill out. Here's my solution on my Z06:
3m 2 sided tape at the front left and right sides of the splitter bulges (about 6 inches of tape on each side, no need to go nuts)
OE screws back on where they belong.
Instead of rivets, I drilled the 5 (or 6, can't remember exactly how many) holes on each side where the oem rivets were, out to a 1/4 inch and used 2 piece plastic push pins to secure the front splitter.
3 years, several runs north of 180mph, and absolutely 0 issues.
Good luck

Good solution - those 2-piece plastic push pins, found at many auto parts stores, will hold the part in place.

Not familiar with these 2-piece push pins. Any pics of them? I need to replace my front spoiler soon.

NAPA, O'Reilly's, Autozone, etc, will have small packs of various styles/sizes of these hanging on their racks -

I'll offer that since the OP lost the splitter due to an on-track incident....**** happens....plastic clips are not going to secure the new splitter. GM uses aluminum split rivets. They are available on Amazon for much less than you can buy them for at the dealer. These are the same rivets GM uses with the side skirts.

Even if there is not an "off", aero is a funny thing at 120, 130, 140, or more mph.
