Wheels get cracks and leak air (all of the C7 wide bodies are in this club).
If the triple flush hasn't been done on the A8, and the car is 2015 - 2018, then you can have torque tube trouble. Most have been flushed by now and are just fine. Records of the flush are in the dealer's computer system.

I have a 2019 Grand sport built after Feb 2019 so I had correct fluid from factory in the a8 also from day one had a range device so no V4 mode which kills the tq tube valves springs and tq convertor. I have just over 11000 miles with 0 issues no cracked wheels either but I live in Florida so pretty good roads. Majority of cars have no major issues however some can be very expensive like tq tube. I fell like most things in life a lot of it comes down to luck of the draw.
Some 3LT dashes delaminate.
The infotainment can go out; once repaired/replaced they are fixed for good.
M7's are more reliable but clutches are expensive to replace ( ~$4k ).
So yeah, they are reliable, mainly due to lacking complexity. However, due to the torque tube, anything that requires dropping it will be expensive.
Find a manual Stingray with minimal options (fewest potential issues for latter ownership all else being equal) and ENJOY!
Agreed. I've been driving a zero option manual 1LT Grand Sport for 6 years and it's been nearly perfect (other than a T-Stat replacement)! Excellent car.
On the C7 anyone know if I will be able to use my Android phone connecting with the blue tooth in the car to play music without having to pay any additional fees?
14 Z51 A6. TQ tube rubber coupling exploded and replaced whole TQ tube assy, V8 hydro locked and died, replaced. Fuse box broken replaced, that caused starter motor fried and replaced, also fuel pump replaced. After all this it is driving great.
I have had my 2018 1LT coupe since new and it now has 60,000 miles on it. I only had two repairs done under warranty but both of them were rather large. The first one was the torque tube at 37k, the second one was the differential side cover at 44k. But other than that it has been perfect and I haven't had to pay for any repairs out of pocket. That's a win in my mind, hopefully it continues to be reliable like my C5 and C6 were for me.

I do that on my 2014 all the time. In 2016 they added wired Android Auto.

Other than that, they are awesome.

Agree - check the wheels in and out for cracks. Some suggest it is the extremely stiff sidewall on the Michelin run flats that contribute to cracked wheels.

Yes you can do that on any C7. 2016 and later cars can use Apple Car Play and Android Auto wired. However, early 2016 cars have to have Android Auto enabled by the dealer if the original owner did not have it done. My car is an early 2016 and I need to have the dealer enable AA as I'm an Android owner.
These cars have their quirks, GM reliability issues. But, overall, seem to be very reliable for a sports car.

2014 A6 with 8700 miles. Only things needing repair have been an infotainment screen replacement and a belt tensioner replacement. Other than that, just normal maintenance. Love the car.
2019 GS, 2LT, M7. Other than a new set of wheels (2 OEM had cracks, now running OEM ZR1 wheels), I have had no problems whatsoever. Fingers remain crossed!

Is that a normal thought for owners of C7...? Fingers crossed? My concern upon consideration of a switch. 🤔
