Our insurance is with the Cincinnati Insurance. They really provide great service. We are about $1,000.00, but we have 6 vehicles. We only drive one or two at a time.
No, I can't top Grundy. I pay about the same and they replaced all four of my crappy OEM wheels on my 19 GS. I had them less than a year. Be sure wheel replacement coverage is included.
Premiums are far too individualize to guess from others here. Go to your local (in state, at least) agents, present your history, and see who makes the best deal, but beware to be sure the coverages offered are truly comparable... and, all the best.

You are going to have to just check with various insurers to see what rates you can get. There are a number of collector car insurance companies, including the NCM Insurance Agency, and other traditional insurance agencies offer coverage for Corvettes.
Be careful who you insure is authorized to do business in your state. Insurance companies are leaving many states because of losses, so, agents are offering companies, with lower rates, that are not authorized to do business in our state. All is fine until there is a claim.

My Insurance is with Cincinnati brokered by Grundy.
We have NCM and pay $529 a year for my 72 and 2017 , we can drive each car three thousand miles a year , the 72 i only drive about 100 miles , its not as fun as the 2017!!!

My Hagerty Collector Car Insurance is $1004, but this is Michigan (which is a rather expensive state, although all those southern hurricane states are starting to pass us). My previous regular insurance through Progressive was double and going up this year.
Grundy is a good choice. I've used them for 18 years; 1st on an older Ferrari and now on my 2014 Z51. Mine is a little less than yours; rate is proportional to your "Agreed Value". They normally bump up the value a couple percent per year, but our values are going down so you can lower your agreed value.
I priced insurance on my 2019 ZR1 in February. I don't drive it to work and don't put a lot of miles on it. My driving record is clean. The car is insured for an agreed value of $200K.
Haggarty - $4400/yr (restrictions on use)
NCM - 2400/yr (restrictions on use)
Grundy - $1900/yr (restrictions on use)
Erie - $619/yr (this is who I'm with and they also insure my homeowner's and two daily drivers) ( 8000 mile per year limit, must be parked in a garage and no other restrictions)
Main street America - $529/yr but they wouldn't give me a value if the car was totaled. (this is who I was with before switching to Erie)
With Erie my other insurance costs were very close to what I was already paying.

Unfortunately for me Erie isn't available in South Carolina.
