Default Oil Temp Sensor

I already have an oil pressure gauge, and it says it's 740 - 55 Ω, does anyone know where to find this range sending unit with the correct threads for the spot above the oil pan on the driver's side? (https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...sensor-121.jpg)

Everything I find when searching for sending units doesn't tell the resistance range.

Thanks

I'm thinking you may want to ping a mod and have them move this to the C2 or C3 section of the Forum. Getting an answer associated with the Gen V (2014 & up) engines won't do you much good.

Thanks, but I already moved it here as requested by my last post. All that matters is people see it, so maybe someone can answer it.
For any SBC, it shouldn't really matter, it's the resistance range of the gauge, it could go on any motor.
The threads just could be an issue, but at this point, I just need to find the right sensor input.
My SBC is a 1994, but still, the gauge won't care what it's in, just that the sensor is correct.
Thanks.

What is the range on the gauge? The sender may have a higher spread but work with your gauge.

I can't see your last post since all you linked to is a picture of a Gen 1 SBC painted orange. It's not a post with information.

You don't say what car it's going into or what gauges you've changed to since you must not be using stock gauges by virtue of your question.

If you have stock gauges the easiest thing to do is buy the stock sender and then....if needed....use an adapter to address the threads. If the gauge is not stock, call the manufacturer and usually they can recommend the correct sender to buy. Given the few million Gen 1 engines that are out there and the limited number of cars that would have a unique requirement, I suspect a stock sender will work just fine.

I'm out. Good luck in your search.
