Call either Dennis Fichtner at Laurel Chevrolet or Todd Sutherland at MacMulkin Chevrolet and get the straight story from them. As I understand it, the warranties are not eligible to be renewed after the first one, but things may have changed since I last checked.
Things change and these may as well. They will get the right info! I've used Dennis in the past.

Just bought a 2019 GS in June. Had a GMEPP that was good until Aug 2025. I needed a transfer form that was referenced in the first 5 or 6 pages of the warranty. It required the transfer form (provided via email by Dennis Fichtner who originally sold the policy), copy of the cover page of the warranty and, in my case because it was a Florida car, a $75 fee. This transfer form has to be signed by the seller, and the transfer process has to be submitted within 30 days of the sale and can't be transferred when a dealer is involved, I think. The transfer fee is sometimes controlled by state requirements, so the fee may be different. All the transfer info was in the original GMEPP contract. Processed mine as directed and received confirmation that the warranty transferred to me.
