Dealer recommended coolant flush on my c7 at 30,000 for $459. Seems like a lot.
I think it sounds about right. You are going to pay a premium for service at any Dealership. I would find a good reputable independent mechanic. It's an easy DIY job. I think it took me less than an hour.
While price seems OK for a dealer, why now at 30K miles? What year is your Vette? Coolant flush is due at five years regardless of mileage, so it may be appropriate since C7s started in 2014.
Our Owner Manual recommends just a drain & refill, which is easier/cheaper than a flush.
Just as easy to do it right and remove all the old coolant. Easy to do, Step 1 - Drain the radiator (you will get 1.5 gallons). Fill with 1.5 gal of water, run the engine. Repeat Step 1 (2x) . Fill with 1 gallon of Dexcool concentrate and top off with water. (1 gal of Dexcool concentrate will give you the recommended Coolant/water ratio) Easy peasy!

That's what I did but I flushed it 3 times with distilled water then the 1 gallon of Dexcool.

I'll let you decide what "just as easy" means, but doing it three times instead of once doesn't meet my definition.
Our dealer has the equipment to do an actual flush, and that is easy for me. But it does cost a little more.
Either way works.
About normal for a dealer these days.
I'm @ 5 years & will be changing mine & I only have 15K miles. Going to have the dealer do it since the oil change is also coming up. I have a maintenance package, but I'm not sure if that covers the coolant & brake fluids.
Two months ago my dealer charged me $971 for the following: oil & filter, coolant exchange, transmission exchange, differential exchange, brake fluid exchange, new air filter and new cabin filter.
This is what makes DIY so nice if one is comfortable with that. Access to resources like this site makes things so easy to accomplish and it leaves more money for mods.
I still smile when i think about the days riding my bike to the library to photocopy Chilton manual pages for my 1979 Chevette.
