No problem, glad to help. I just try to educate in these threads because a lot of people get mis information regarding the build sheets. There is one and only one real authentic build sheet or sheets that come with the car. There are no reproductions and no where to get them if you didn't get them when you bought the car new or the original owner gave them to you if you bought it used.. The original window sticker and build sheets are like the holy grail of corvette documentation to a lot of people. To each his own.

it's interesting to see how so many individual items are in the real build sheet!!
without the original, what's available from the dealer is still way better than looking up all the rpo codes on the label!!
thanks again!!

When you look at the real build sheets that are on the car coming down the assembly line it seems like they are more GM internally coded technically for the line workers. The report the dealer gives you based on your vin is like a glorified rpo coded options list that the dealer can order from and instantly understand if they had too. Me personally I think if you walked into a dealer with your build sheets and wanted to reference certain parts off it I don't think they would have the slightest clue what they were looking at but I could be wrong.

i wouldn't/didn't have any questions for my service writer at the chevy dealer, that's 5 min away!! i trust him, he provided sheets for my '04 c5/2014 z51 3lt!!
probably not unless they own a corvette!!
what i got is real easy to see how vehicle was put together!!
The build sheet had part number derivatives that would have directed the asemblers to the correct part needed.
That looks correct sure. But the funny thing is on the build sheets there is stuff that makes no sense. Notice it says a-pillar. Doesn't every C7 use the same black a-pillar regardless of model. Why would they need to list that when it is indigenous to every model, just one example. Ok I just realized, maybe convertibles are different?
No doubt there's information on the sheets that won't make sense to most people outside the Corvette manufacturing and assembly community.
I'm just noting that there is a tie-in to info on the sheets that can be an aide for identifying parts used during assembly. Car owners and hobbyists can recognize the relationship between the truncated part number on the sheet that was used to build their car, and the part number they need from their GM dealer to repair it.
Contact the dealer and give your VIN and get the GMVIS report. It will give you the day the car rolled off the assembly line. Like my report in post # 18
