I just got rid of my Tesla MY and I’m trying to get into the market for a muscle/sporty car within the 70k mark so I found the C7 2017-2019 ish. I don’t know much about cars but I see so much potential in the C7 because of how manual isn’t offered in the C8, don’t think prices are going anywhere especially as gas cars become rarer. Only drawback for me is I’ve never dealt with second hand cars in this price range, I got no idea where to look for defects and what procedure to take before making the deal. Currently I’m just browsing some generic sites (Autotrader, Cars.com, EBay Motor, Craigslist, Fbmarketplace, etc) so it’ll be extremely helpful if there are other secret places where I can find these babies. Please also lmk some first hand info on cost of maintenance, issues, etc.

I always suggest checking in with your local Corvette Club. Lots of knowledgeable folks and there’s usually a garage queen looking for a new home. Welcome and good hunting.

right! I was just thinking about joining one. I live in the LA area, where do I find them?
Peruse the General and Tech/Performance sections of the Forum here for a while. Also, do an "Advanced search" across the C7 sections. You'll find a lot of others have asked the same question. For used vehicles I always suggest the fewest owners, best/most detailed history, and the base-model for fewest issues down the road... especially for sports/performance cars. All the best!

All of the above is great advice. Definitely consider having a car you are serious about looked at by a competent, certified Corvette tech - a pre purchase inspection. A Corvette club should have good recommendations on techs.
You might consider a broker, they should understand values and be able to assess condition better than most, and they have the best tools to find cars. I’d first focus on deciding exactly what trim, color combinations, etc to give him/her good direction. Getting the perfect car is the goal, well worth the cost of a professional!

Read the reams of Stickys and C7 forum threads. Take it all in. I spent 4 years in deciding on and finding my new C7. So close to what I wanted on a new C7.
Do a search using Autotraders.com for C7 Corvettes near you.
AND widen out the distance to see the larger geographic market of offerings. Find one nearby and take a test drive.
I found a great deal for the 2019 Grand Sport I bought.
Do your homework at Autotraders to get an idea of what C7s in the 2017-2019 model years are being offered for.
