Default Shipping Experience

due to family obligations, i was not able to drive my Corvette home to San Diego from Bowling Green. I shipped it.
(i have shipped 4 other cars in my life, both to and from my house. Every time there were problems and damage to the vehicles)

i had quotes from the following brokers/shippers:
InterCity
Passport
Plycar
Summit
Reliable
Topline
Bears
Shiplux
Graham
Montway
SGT Auto
Nexus

a couple others that i now forget

finally went with Goliath Auto Transport. Broker out of Florida.
The Customer Service Rep, Natalie Tamara, could not have been nicer or more helpful.
She answered my 27 questions in a timely manner,
with complete sentences and no spelling or grammatical errors in her emails.

Transportation was an enclosed two car trailer.

Car arrived early than expected,
i told the driver
"no you may not drop it off at 8am Sunday"

IF i ever have to ship again
Natalie will be my first, and hopefully, only call

I have had two cars shipped, one in an open carrier and one in an enclosed, both were very successful. When they see a nice car, they know to be careful with it. One was an Austin-Healey and one was a 68 Corvette. EEEEEK! .

I have had many cars and motorcycles shipped, all via enclosed transport, including the C7 recently from Omaha (I'm in OK), and my Panamera S from AL. Just shipped my ZX14R to the new owner in VA. Never had any problems or damage.

There are great transports, and not so great. I guess to some extent there's risk unless you find a carrier you trust. Glad you found one!

Outstanding that you found a transporter that took very good care of your car as well as offering great customer service. Sounds like you really did your research to come up with the one you used.

Glad it worked out so well for you.

Based on recent experience with SGT, I wouldn't waste time with them again. I would, however, recommend Pilot Transport.

Based on your experience, I will at least request a quote from Natalie Tamara at Goliath the next time I need to ship a vehicle.

When shipping your car, talk directly to the dispatcher and the driver. When they understand the importance of the car they are very good at taking care of it. I gave the driver a $100 tip.
