HUD question …
Love the HUD in my 2019 Stingray . Wondering if you can program other images into it through the settings on the touch screen… for example GPS , ( I know some other cars can do that , like my buddy’s BMW ) …or is it just only the few speedometer images …

^ Mine shows Nav maneuvers in the HUD too. It is explained in the owners manual.

Only when you are actively using the in car navigation, the HUD will only show distance to next turn as you get closer. Though the in car nav is inferior to Waze and Google maps and updates to the maps is no longer available for the C7 . So the answer to your question is essentially NO.

i only use vehicle nav to see traffic tie-ups before getting caught in traffic!!
i avoid google maps, find there's too much clutter with waze info, use mapquest on my phone/home pc/laptops if planning a trip, whether local or out of town for the last bit of the trip!!

If you have the factory Nav in your car and have a destination/route active, it will give you both a "distance to turn" countdown and a turn arrow as you get closer. If you are driving on a multilane highway, it can give you a suggested lane as you get closer to the turn.
GM is no longer selling updates to the Nav system, and the last version they came out with (in Fall of 2022, labeled as 2023 update) works fine in our car but some cars had the Nav trashed by that update with no simple repair. There is no indication they will ever come out with a newer update.
