Default C7 Corvette Coding software

Hey folks,

I've been searching around for a coding software that give some control over the car module, something similar to VCDS for VW or INPA for BMW.

any recommendations?

Which car module? There are a bunch of programmable modules in the car; which ones do you want to control?

You need GDS2 and a GM MDI device for service level programing, lot of clones out there

for performance level you need HPTuners and their interface

Hi Bill,

I am referring to modules like BCM, where you usually can code things like blinking, mirror tilting, windows, etc.

I got HP tuner, for the GDS2 is there any cheatsheet to see what can be done before I buy it?

You need something like VX Nano to access AC Delco TDS and then use SPS2. The Nano is the piece of hardware and the hacked GM interface software that also has some diagnostic capability. AC Delco TDS is the access point where you pay for the subscription to access the GM files. SPS2 is the programming system....Service Programming System 2.

You program/code things to the VIN of the car. It's not like BMW or other brands where you can go in and turn on options your car wasn't equipped with. If you have failed modules, you use this to code the new modules to the car. If you have a new PCM or want to reflash the existing PCM to stock, this is how you load the factory tune.

Get yourself sideways with the software and you brick the module you're trying to program.

Thanks mate, so it is more about coding new modules or flashing the PCM to stock?
