How the f**k do you prove that your wheels were not damaged by a road hazard?

GM claimed the wheels cracked after we hit potholes. Now they want us to submit an affidavit which says we did not hit a pothole.

It's going to be tough to truthfully assert that you never hit a pothole. On the other hand, unless there is an obvious impact point, they can't prove that you did. Given the number problems with these wheels and the less-than-optimal customer relief program GM has put together, I'd be willing to submit pretty much anything that ended up with me getting some sort of settlement.

Since both of my rear wheels were found to be cracked at the same point in time and mileage, that must have been one hell of a pothole that I drove thru but do not remember to catch both wheels together!!

Hey @Carvin - Look at my e-mail and submit the affidavit. They responded to me today and said no claims have been paid so submit an affidavit and let's see what happens? I'm thinking if you can't file an affidavit you might not want to be driving a 190mph Corvette and sleep well after driving it (on any day). (I have no trouble sleeping btw and I'm never late) Let us know what you do. They haven't gotten to my claim I guess yet to ask me to submit an affidavit, but I wouldn't hesitate. Let us know what you do and what they do in response. Meanwhile I'm going to mass mail them every fricking day from here on out, this is ridiculous.

I get it, just submit the damn thing! Claims don't get adjudicated and PAID if you don't submit it. Let us know how it goes. BTW, it's too late if you didn't submit it, so why am I preaching? Sorry.

Yes I submitted it last year. Couple of minutes of work, worth a long shot.

Last fall there was a guy saying he expects a check in 90 days. I advised him to not hold his breath.
