Well you posted in the C8 forum. And that's a different front end than my C7 so I cannot offer a reply.

Usually that happens when someone uses a concrete parking stop as.....a parking stop....and they bend the radiator support.

In other words, no it shouldn't be like that. You'll have to climb underneath and look to see if the support is bent or if there's something else going on like a clip that popped free.

That's the secondary radiator. I didn't think that was stock on any cars. It has to be added unless at some point they made it stock on Z06.

If it's true and it is an add on, it likely wasn't mounted exactly right. The instructions for it are wonky.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...r-install.html The plastic you are looking at is the top piece in the first picture.

I was meaning to do this on my Z51, but then I never got around to it and I don't even think you can get the kit now.

Stock for the 17 and up Z06 and Grand Sport

Good catch in case the OP added it

I was at the shop today to do some work and snapped a few pics of mine. The front end is off due to all the things going on with the 416 build but at least you can see the part in question. Yes, the AC condensor fins on mine is beat up. The car gets used
