Over the years one thing I notice is that the shape of the tread at the transition to the sidewall has definite effect on tramlining. The runflats from the C7 era had a very square edge. Most all season tires have a rounded edge. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S has a very rounded shoulder and drives very nicely.

I was having the same problem Never knew there was a name for it. My 18 GS has 8000 miles on it and was getting scary to drive My Camry felt more solid on the road WTF Put new continetal summer tires on the front yesterday Much Much improved They are not run flats
