Thinking about getting the Vette Vinyl wrapped and was wondering about any members experience. Was concerned about longevity and maintenance. any thoughts would be appreciated.

From what I've heard, it's an expensive car to wrap due to all the lines and small areas. I haven't heard anyone complaining about the longevity or care. Its my understanding it lasts 3-5 years with a good quality vinyl and protects the paint.
I have wrapped a few pieces and that’s why I went to plastidip option for my car. Some consider that a liquid wrap. Vinyl is a cool option too.
If I was going to pay to get it done I’d go vinyl. DIY I went with dip, plus clear coat, plus ceramic coat.
I bought it in the Deep Space blue up top, then changed it to the Artic Frost . The car was Artic white, no damage what so ever underneath to the paint, It lasted for 5yrs until I sold it for a Zo6, I just ceramic sprayed it. Now they have the same material that XPEL uses in colors, I'd recommend that instead. The reason is that it's self healing, any scratches or scrapes, take a heat gun to it and it corrects itself. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again, good luck. L8R ZFLASH
I put on Matt Caribbean Mint, Platinum Wrappin three years ago. If you plan to remove the wrap eventually, better be careful glue residue is not easy to remove in some area.
Had Xpel wrap put on my 2017 corvette when I bought it 8 years ago. No fading or hassle. Use Mothers Calif gold spray wax which Xpel reccomended to me as well as their like product.
I love how you can completely transform the look of your car just by using paint protection film . It’s amazing that something designed primarily to protect the paint can also enhance the finish and give the whole vehicle a cleaner, more refined appearance. The depth and gloss it adds really make the color stand out, and it almost feels like a subtle customization without permanently changing anything. I’m planning to reach out to a few car wrapping specialists in Chicago and hopefully get mine done in the next couple of weeks. I’m excited to see what options they recommend and how it will elevate the overall look while keeping the paint protected from everyday wear.

Now THAT is not a color you see every day on a Corvette! Certainly not anything I would do, but I still like it.
It's likely going to save some wear and tear on your paint underneath too.
I'm no expert but I have read and been told that expel is pretty heavy on the adhesive, so if you want the option to remove it later you run a higher risk of hurting the paint or it being more difficult to get all the glue off. Of course if someone uses expel exclusively they will say its the best. If they use something else they will say that's the best.
