Just installed one in my 2019 that I’ve owned since 2018. I wish I would have added this mod years ago as it’s a night and day difference from stock. The 95mm throttle body will be next. Great product!!
Was having some new led side marker lights installed when I decided might as well have the throttle controller installed while I'm there. Thank you to C&S Corvettes for the lights and Soler. 👍
Another happy Controller owner here. Picked one up here on the Forum and installed it this evening. Wow, what a difference! I feel like I traded cars. Can't recommend it enough.
Yeah, apparently great for the A8; but, as a thread here discusses, if one has an M7 with the accelerator-pedal adjusted correctly it is totally unneeded. All the best!
I would much rather have a proper tune and torque management adjusted. I'm not a big fan of a small company resources (compared to GM) to have a electronic gadget tricking my car throttle signal.
I'm curious what fail safes or testing have been done on the different failure modes. If it fails, does your pedal stop working? If it fails, does the car go WOT? I bought my car with a Solar TB and controller as extra parts but sold them with plans to just get a proper dyno tune. Also to life with the the 100% stock for a while to see how it is.
I will say that out of all the products, Soler stuff seems highly regarded.
Don't be that guy! Yes, if it fails , it will go WOT and your brakes will fail, your convertible top/targa also detaches on its own... Are you for real? Just get the soler throttle body and controller , you will be blown away and you will be happy you did it. Did you read any comments that someone was unhappy with these mods? NO! Stop over thinking stuff..

Yet another poster who does not know how the unit works and what it does.
I almost learned the hard way. Setting at sport 6 and only driven it 3 miles since install with great weather. As I leave my grandsons birthday a nice rainfall. Gave it the gas I'm used to from factory and almost spun it trying to pull out on hwy.
I have a 2016 M7. Been thinking about getting the Soler TC. So, how do you go about adjusting the accelerator pedal so the TC is not needed on a M7?
Buy the BT version and download the app on your phone. You only need to use the actual controller for pairing once and then you can put it away. I'm not sure if this answered the question you were asking or not.
Edit: I see you were asking a question from a post above so disregard.
Well, I finally decided to install the Soler throttle controller on my 2016 Z51 m7 coupe. As others have said, should have done this mod years ago! Really wakes up the throttle response & makes the car a blast to drive!
Question for all those who have installed the Soler controller. Once it's paired to the app in your phone, can you disconnect the controller and remove it-just using your phone to control it afterwoords? I mainly purchased it to use the pedal lock out as a theft deterrent.
Absolutely. Just tuck the wire away and use your phone. Keep the controller handy for future reference. But please join the rest of us and don’t just use it for the throttle lock feature. If you read through the threads, you’ll find many people who are thrilled with the ability to tailor their throttle response to their liking. If you haven’t tried that, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. So please do.

Hello. I just installed the Soler Throttle Controller yesterday and now I get a CEL. Oddly enough my steering wheel radio controls don't work now either. 2017 Z06 with 6800 miles. I left the doors open for 12 minutes before installing as directed.
Currently disconnecting the battery for a hard reset.
A battery disconnect or hard reset would be warranted if your car did not go into sleep mode before you did the install. (it happen to me). You did not say what your CEL was for or if you had any codes. The steering wheel radio controls have no connection to your throttle control. Could be a completely different issue. See what happens after you re-connect your battery. Give it a good 20 or 30 minutes to make sure. Good luck. Let us know how you make out.
