Hi all time to replace the battery i went to amazon web site and put in the delco 88864541-48-agm 36 mo and they say it doesnt fit is it because i have the wrong numbers or that it is a agm type ? If the numbers are wrong would some-one have the correct ones?
thx
Search for a Group 48. That defines the size and post locations. The OEM battery is rated at 660 CCA.
I installed a Duracell AGM Group 48 two years ago rated 760 CCA and have had no issues. The car definitely cranks a lot better.

Will the stock battery tender work properly with an AGM battery? I've seen some youtube videos that caution against it.
Just look on the manufacturer web site for that model's instructions and see if it is acceptable for AGM. Or email support@ctek.com and ask them - just give them the model number off your maintainer.
Most new maintainers should support AGM - but check the package or instructions to be sure.

Yes. Like many things on the Internet, YT is far from authoritative.

Good advide. Thankfully, the instructions DO specify. According to page 9 of the US 3300 Corvette Model 1051 Battery Charger User's Manual, it's suitable for charging "All type of lead-acid batteries. (WET, MF, AGM, Ca/Ca)"
