Hi all, I need to replace the brake pads on my Z51 equipped Stingray. I would like reduced dust from stock but don't want to give up much performance. There's so many choices that it is a bit confusing. Just want to see what others experience has been with the various brands. Hopefully, there's something out there with similar perform to stock but less dust. Let me know what works. Thanks in advance for your help!!
Honestly, all the options in previous posts are great and you will never notice the difference between powerstop, Akebano, or hawk. Just buy what ever you prefer, I’m a fan of hawk, best pads I ever used. KNS brake rotors are pretty nice too. Ceramic pads will not give you the stopping power of semi metallic pads. But you also might not notice a difference unless you’re hard on the brakes like doing an HPDE. Ceramic pads will have little to no dust.
