Question for all you guys.

I'm storing my z06 shortly. Should I cover it or leave it uncovered?

In my personal garage but it gets opened daily to take other car out.

In a garage or storage unit?

if its in my garage I don't cover it, if its outside I cover it. If its locked inside a unit where I can't see it daily I'd probably cover it.

If I lived in your area of the world, i would cover the car is a indoor soft car cover. In you harsh winter,so much crap can blow in as you go in & out with your daily driver.

My 2019 Z06 Vert is stored in a non heated garage. I throw a blanket over the Vert top and that is it. I would not bother with a cover.

I wouldn't cover it, I enjoy looking at mine too much and it would give me an excuse to give it a wipe down every now and then.

Uncovered. I believe you will get more micro scratches with a cover. I little dust isn't going to hurt it. Just wash it correctly when it comes out of storage.

I have been leaving the car uncovered when in storage, but that was when I had a separate garage for it. Now that I have a two car garage that has a single door, the car gets much dirtier due to the door opening each time I get the other car out. Considering getting a soft cover to keep any dust off the car.

Let me ask this. Why would you not cover it inside with proper cover designed for inside stowage?

Living in the south now, it never goes into storage, but I still cover it until I drive it. Keeps it dust free...

I have a different reason. I spend a lot of time out in the garage tinkering on something.

I guess I am the pack leader and my cats will follow me out there. Their favorite place to keep an eye on me is the convertible top. Two of the three like to purch there. The third cat, JD is more ground based in the garage. They are also very thorough at keeping the garage car friendly.

I detail wax the car and put the cover on to keep the top clean.

I have the same setup...Corvette is on one side of our unheated double garage...SUV on the other. So in & out daily - it gets pretty dusty in there so I put a cover on it for the 3+ winter months that it's in storage. Otherwise I'd have to wash it regularly.

Just hope they don't stretch and scratch. I would not let my cats on a convertible top, They like to use their claws.
