I got a 2014 corvette that im at a stand still with and need your guys help ... My cluster went bad and need to replace it but they are discounted and i don't think i can go with a used one because they are VIN coded
Question would be ... does anyone know of a person or a company that can RE-program a used one to my VIN or does anyone know someone that can help with maybe repairing mine ??
I just had mine rebuilt through a local chevy dealer. They pulled it, sent it off for rebuilding and reinstalled it when it came back. I was getting "black holes" on mine.
A dealer or a shop with GM software coding can reprogram a used one, but it's better to have it rebuilt as they put better chips in.
I did find some "rebuilders" on the internet but I didn't save those links and my car had an extended warranty on it. Good luck!
Had really good experience with Model Electronics recently when my Infotainment screen went bad, you know..........the Black Screen of Death. I removed the unit and sent it to them on Monday, unit was refurbished and returned on Friday! And Thursday was Thanksgiving!!
