I recently purchased a C7 and see the mild2wild controller in the engine bay but the car did not come with the mild2wild remotes. Is there anyplace I can purchase these? Thanks in advance.
I know if it was a trade in they can contact the previous owner.
The dealer i purchased my car from only had one fob. Dealer said it was a local trade in and they would contact the previous owner and get the fob. I had them add verbiage in the contract that they would supply me a key if the previous owner failed to supply the second fob.
not sure how to program the homelink buttons without the remote....
I think the point of Flattman's post was, if your car has the HomeLink buttons, try pushing each of them to see if they trigger the Mild to Wild system, if the car was previously programmed for that it should still work.
So this is what Chat GPT has to say about Mild to Wild and NPP. I know Chat can be wrong but would appreciate clarification on this subject. No — the Mild to Wild exhaust controller was not a factory-standard feature on a 2017 C7 Corvette Grand Sport.( I asked and it wasn't an option either)
Here’s how it works on that model:
🔧 Factory Exhaust & Valve Control on 2017 Grand Sport
The 2017 C7 Corvette Grand Sport (like Stingray and Z06) typically came with the NPP dual-mode (active) exhaust system, which uses electronically controlled valves in the exhaust tips to manage sound and backpressure.
This system’s valves open and close based on engine RPM and driver mode selection (Tour/Sport/Track, etc.) via the car’s Engine Sound Management settings — giving quieter operation at lower RPM and louder at higher RPM.
You can also adjust exhaust settings through the car’s infotainment/driver mode controls, but this is different from a dedicated remote controller that lets you override the system at will.
📌 About the Mild to Wild Controller
The Mild to Wild (or Mild2Wild) controller is an aftermarket/third-party accessory designed to give owners remote push-button control over the NPP exhaust valves (e.g., force them open for loud exhaust at all RPMs or close them for quiet operation) without delving into menus or pulling fuses.
It was not installed by Chevrolet as standard equipment from the factory on Grand Sports (or other C7s).
🧠 Summary
✔️ 2017 C7 Grand Sport could have a factory dual-mode NPP exhaust with valves controlled by the car’s mode settings.
❌ It did not come with a dedicated “Mild to Wild” remote controller as a standard or factory option.

MAYBE you can find JUST the remotes? But not sure how to link a new remote to your current module in the engine bay. Maybe they are so cheap that all the frequencies are the same and doesn't matter and just get a remote, toss a batter in and it works.
