I’m betting that’s the original filter installed at the factory.

Quite possibly, it did have a "GM" stamp. Anyway, I am good to go now...but everyone should change theirs ASAP if it's been at least a year!

I replaced mine after 9 years. I'll go another 9. It was annoying to change because of all the crap in the way.

I check mine every year - still looks good and am on the original filter. About time to check it again before driving season begins.

Living S Florida and using the A/C all the time I replace it every 2 years, and it's always dirty.

Wow... Where do you park/drive to where it gets that bad? Should be a huge improvement with the new filter.

When I installed the GM performance intake the other day, I pulled out the cabin filter. Considering the cabin air intake are small holes, it's interesting how big things get in there
